A build-up of wax in your ear may not seem like too much of an issue, but it can cause discomfort and irritation going forward.
Earwax is a natural substance that protects you from dust and other particles that can cause your body harm. It is, however, Important to make sure your ears are free from an Earwax build-up.

Symptoms of an Earwax build-up include:

  • Hearing loss
  • Ringing or buzzing In your ears (Tinnitus)
  • Feeling dizzy or sick
  • Earache and feeling a blockage

An Earwax build-up can naturally occur if your body is producing it at a faster rate, however, most build-ups are caused by using devices such as earphones, hearing devices, and cotton buds. All of these can push the wax back down the ear and cause a blockage that overtime can become worse and lead to negative health impacts including infections and further hearing complications.

Micro-suction is the safest way of removing wax blockages and build-up from within the ear canals. The instrument is carefully inserted into the ear canal and acts as a vacuum to gently remove wax.  The procedure is painless but there may be some mild discomfort within the ear depending on the sensitivity and the texture of the wax. It shouldn't take any longer than a half of an hour to clear both ears.
