Michael Goldman
Hearing Aid Audiologist
Qualifications:
RHAD, MSHAA Hearing Aid Audiologist
We are delighted to welcome Audiologist Michael Goldman to expand our Audiology service in our Belsize Park and Fleet Street clinics.
Michael is a Scot who has lived in Finchley for over 30 years with his wife and two daughters.
He has extensive experience in the profession for over 20 years, registered with the Health care professional council and member of the British Society of Hearing Audiology.
His particular focus, for those who seek help for hearing loss, is less about viewing this within the limitations of hearing loss but more accurately viewing hearing loss more as a communication loss: and working with each individual to achieve the best communication in as many lifestyle situations as possible.
A highlight in Michael’s career which had a powerful impact on him was in 2019 when he joined other international colleagues in Peru as part of the Hear the World charity. Working with the local partner in Lima, he tested and fitted hearing aids to children with severe to profound hearing loss, transforming the lives of these young people in a country with very limited Audiologty services.
No one should live with untreated hearing loss and in in the UK we are fortunate we have that choice.
Aside from work Michael is a keen tennis player, learns Spanish and enjoys a vegan lifestyle.
He looks forward to welcoming you to our clinic.
